‘Three Click Rule’ can help a great deal in creating quality and effective web design for any website. This rule is being used by many professional web designers these days. This rule is based on the studies which show that most users and web surfers will not click more than three links to get to the information they want on any website.
So according to this rule, you should ensure that every important page on your website should be reachable within three clicks. This is a simple rule but it provides the basis for good and effective website navigation structure and ultimately a quality web design.
